Before the fall

Hah--you see what I did there?

Not yet? Well, here's how the day of this photo went:

Me: *crying over unrequited love*

Mom: "Let's get some Chinese, that'll cheer you up."

Me: *delerious from food poisoning* "Oh--my creative juices are working again--let me just stand Prosper up by these rocks and take a photo!"

Aaand--ah, there was a gust...and his head cap popped off and his eye fell out and I had a nervous breakdown and once I stopped shaking like crazy and ran him inside and put him back together again and cleaned him off, I realized that he had 3 little scrapes, one on his shoulder, one on his forearm, one on the back of his wrist, but nothing else. I was actually able to nearly buff out the one on his hand with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser (hah, product placement). It's not anything noticeable without really hunting for it, so I was SO relieved...his beautiful face was all right! He fell right ON a rock, rather, a sort of incline full of rocks right next to a large creek, and that's a miracle that nothing worse happened--THANK YOU JESUS

Then I realized the magnet in his cap was missing, and seeing as how I was still too shaky to walk, my mom went out and dug through the rocks with a refrigerator magnet for fifteen minutes until she actually found it, so she wins--everything.

Anyway, this was the only photo I was even able to take, and it's what I was going for. Prosper is such a trooper.
